Firefighter Jerry Oglesbee joined the ranks of MVRFD in 2018 as an in-district volunteer. Since joining the department, Jerry has been one of the top 5 responders in the district. He quickly completed his training on the district apparatus and was cleared as an apparatus operator due to his commitment to training and widening his skillset.
Firefighter Oglesbee is known for continuously going out of his way to help his community and his MVRFD family. When not serving the community, Jerry works as a mechanical plumbing and engineering consultant. He enjoys hunting, working around his house, and spending time with his wife, Kathy.
