Chase McCord

Firefighter Chase McCord got his start in the fire service in 2021 with Dexter Rural Fire Protection District where he was a resident volunteer until June of 2022 when he joined our team.

Chase brings an upbeat attitude to the team, motivating his peers and coworkers on and off the drill field.  He is currently a resident volunteer with the district and lives at Station 4, working on a 48/96 hour schedule.  Since his start in 2021, Firefighter McCord has recieved his Firefighter 1 and Apparatus Operator certifications, as well as his wildland firefighter type 2 certifications.  He recently went to school and recieved his state EMT license to better provide for the community.

Chase assists in the department's Firefighter 1 academies and enjoys helping people improve.  when he is not at Station 4, Chase enjoys spending time with his family and girlfriend.
