Firefighter Brent Peterson started with MVRFD in 2017. Brent is an out-of-district volunteer that responds to emergency calls from Station 5. Brent has been heavily involved in training, and handles most of the districts wildland fire and rope rescue training. FF Peterson is a licensed Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and responds to calls whenever he is available.
He recieved a Unit Citation in 2020 from OFCA for his actions during the Holiday Farm Fire.
When not volunteering with MVRFD, Brent works as a protection supervisor for the Oregon Department of Forestry.
